The large-scale direct drive servo motor developed and manufactured by Physis has been successfully applied to the bucket wheel machine for Baosteel Group. This bucket wheel machine is used for mining and transportation in the steel plant, which is a efficient and continuous equipment for material piling and taking. The outer diameter of the direct drive servo motor is close to 3m, rated torque is 93000 Nm, rated speed is 6r / min and the efficiency is up to 96%. Using direct drive motor, no reduction gearbox requirement,improves the system efficiency and greatly reduce the maintenance frequency of the bucket wheel machine.
